Design Thinking
Creating TeamSync, a CRM web app to keep teams connected, was a journey powered by Design Thinking. Here’s how we brought it to life:
Empathize
We began by gathering insights directly from employees and managers through interviews and surveys. Understanding their communication struggles and goals helped us build empathy and set the foundation for TeamSync’s core features.
Define
With user insights in hand, we defined our problem: employees needed an easy, reliable way to stay informed and engaged across departments. We crafted a clear problem statement, focused on creating a tool that fosters effective, real-time communication within teams.
Ideate
In brainstorming sessions, our team generated ideas to meet these needs, including features like live messaging, project tracking and announcements. We explored multiple layouts, functions, and approaches before narrowing down to the most impactful concepts.
Prototype
Our initial prototype included key features, presented in a straightforward, user-friendly interface. Rapid user testing allowed us to gather feedback on functionality and usability, making adjustments based on real user needs and behaviors.
Test & Refine
Through iterative testing with employees, we refined TeamSync’s design, ensuring the app felt intuitive, responsive and enjoyable to use. Each round of feedback brought us closer to a seamless experience, ultimately delivering an app that fosters communication and collaboration.
Using the Design Thinking framework allowed us to build TeamSync with the user at the heart, creating a tool that brings teams together in a meaningful, connected way.
