Lean UX
Building InnVibe, the iOS app for enhancing guest experiences at hotels and resorts, was an exciting journey driven by Lean UX principles. Here's how we brought it to life, step by step:
Discover & Understand
We began by engaging with hotel guests and staff to understand their pain points and needs. Through interviews and surveys, we identified key areas where guests wanted more convenience, like room service, booking amenities and personalized recommendations.
Define the Core Problem
With insights in hand, we defined the problem: guests needed an easy way to access hotel services and information, enhancing their stay without the hassle. The goal was to simplify the guest experience through an intuitive, all-in-one app.
Ideation & Conceptualization
We brainstormed ideas for features that would make the guest experience seamless, including digital room keys, restaurant reservations, activity bookings and in-room requests. We focused on keeping the app simple and easy to use.
Rapid Prototyping
Quickly moving to prototypes, we designed a minimalist, user-friendly interface for both iPhone and Apple Watch. Early prototypes allowed us to test our concepts with actual guests and gather real-time feedback on usability and design.
Test & Iterate
With Lean UX’s “Build-Measure-Learn” approach, we tested the app with users, refining features like navigation, notifications, and personalization. This iterative process allowed us to fine-tune InnVibe to perfectly meet guest needs.
Launch & Continuous Improvement
After launch, we continued collecting feedback to refine the app. The Lean UX framework enabled us to adapt quickly, ensuring InnVibe remained aligned with guest expectations and stayed ahead of industry trends.
By following Lean UX, we created InnVibe as an intuitive, guest-focused app that simplifies the entire hotel and resort experience, providing guests with the comfort and convenience they deserve.
